About Us

Charl Cilliers holds the degrees B. Iuris., LL.B. and LL.M. in Corporate Law, and has a thorough understanding of both the legal and financial aspects of business.

He has obtained extensive experience through his work in major South African financial institutions over a period of 25 years. For most of this time he worked as a legal adviser, but he also has substantial experience in financial dealmaking and the marketing of project finance. This contributes to his knowledge of integrating and consolidating legal requirements with pure business imperatives.

His passion for law and business drove him to establish Cilliers Law Inc., specialising in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts and providing commercial legal advice.

The firm believes in forming strong, long-term relationships with clients based on mutual trust, integrity and respect, and makes a point of fully understanding the nature of a business and its people before providing any legal advice.

It also has access to a network of top calibre lawyers who can provide other specialist legal services at no extra cost to clients.
